We’ve been watching our new HDTV my wife bought me from the Columbia Sears and I have truly enjoyed the HD Travel Channel. There are so numerous lovely places in the world like England, Maui and Niagara Falls. High definition TVs are great in giving you the experience of these locations because it gives you such a great HD presentation. The difficulty is that since the HDTV and HD channel makes those places look so great, I want to go travelling.
My spouse is a big on staying close to home and spending Friday nights in front of our HDTV watching movies. I guess it’s my fault because I did beg her for it. I never guessed she would get preoccupied with it. She loves all our movies in high definition and can’t get enough of it. So one day I researched many numbers on how much it would cost to take a trip to the Grand Canyon. I figured we could rent a vehicle and cruise across the land.
It would give us a chance to spend quality time together and prize the beauty the world has to offer us. The quote I got from the car rental place was not as much as I expected and I was able to get a great value for a motel online. Everything was ready and all she had to do was say, “yes”. I took her out to dinner the night I wanted to lay this trip on her. I encouraged her to have her favorite wine too.
I didn’t want to get her smashed but she may be more open to the idea with a couple of cocktails in her. After her 3rd glassful of Vinifera, I brought out my paperwork. Instantly her face fell and she gave me that, “no” look. It didn’t appear good. After I went through my patter about how great the Grand Canyon looked on HD and all of my figures, I waited for a comeback. It felt like an eternity before my spouse nonchalantly said, “Okay.”
I almost fell out of my seat because I was almost convinced she would have started telling me that it was too much money and it wasn’t a realistic way for us to spend our money. I am so thrilled about our vacation. I think my wife is equally excited even tho’ she would never admit to it. I just know it’s going to do wonders for our family and give us the break we so desperately always wanted.
