Let’s first make points clear, women are always crazy about well built men. In fact they will do all within their power to posses such a guy. Therefore, a woman doing the contrary must have good reasons to do so. Below are some of the reasons that may cause your spouse’s negative response to your effort of body building.
Take time and reflect how many times you’ve suffered injuries at the gym. If the number exceeds three within duration of less than six months, then your spouse has a right to complain. Look, as much as you are a body builder, remember that the body you are building carries a soul which you share with someone else. It will be selfish to focus on your aim even if it hurts your loved one. The only way to solve this problem is by staying safe. Please where possible avoid injuries as much as possible.
This may not only be for your spouse’s good but for your own good too. Muscle gain is a game of consistency and the moment you are down with an injury, you lose the game. At the same time, take your spouse through what a body builder goes through. Let her know that the exercise carries with it some price, and an injury is just one of them. This will prepare her psychologically on what to expect from your exercise.
Your shape as a body builder may also make your spouse cross with you. If instead of gaining that appealing balanced shape you acquire the otherwise, then the problem starts. This is due to the way one does his training. For instance, one who does a lot of training that broadens the shoulder with no consideration for the lower part of the body may be calling for problems.

Have breaks and use this period to make your spouse happy.
