How to Build a Successful Network Business

When analyzing the traditional methods of network marketing in America, used for the last three decades, it’s clear it’s time for a change. Statistics show that a staggering 97 percent of people are failing at network marketing and unfortunately that percentage seems to be worsening. Network marketing isn’t as difficult as it may sound.

Let’s examine today’s basics in home-based business:

* One choice includes bugging your friends and family, attending meetings, having people over to your home, and then all you hear is: “It’s my company, my opportunity, my compensation plan; by the way, give me your credit card number.” The best interpretation from this is, “Hey if you weren’t so dumb and lazy, you could be rich like me.”

* Another choice is to subscribe to internet marketing and those destination web pages that are non effective for the average Joe, along with those lead companies that provide little more than an average phone book. Their message is clear, there’s no such thing as an affordable great lead.

Yet that one percent of those who make it in network marketing businesses knows how to use both choices to their best advantage. What do they have that the remaining 97 percent don’t?

They have a following from other businesses that jump-start their business to substantial profitability immediately. They were empowered with the ability to pass the three years we normal mortals need to build a budding business. Their work ethic is incredible, commitment indestructible, and desire contagious. Herein lays the primary reason only one percent really excels in America: most give up before they even truly begin.

Amazingly in foreign countries this is usually not the case, opportunities are welcomed and new business entrepreneurs carry the same work ethic, commitment and desire like the one percent of Americans described here. It may be hard to believe, but many of our foreign neighbors are out-performing Americans approximately 61 to 1. It’s sad but true. It just boils down to plain old hard work and not giving up.

You might be thinking, “This isn’t me he’s talking about. I’m a hard worker, I have an impeccable work ethic and I know nothing comes easy.” While I don’t doubt that one bit, I wonder if you have the burning desire to do something great. Are you motivated enough to build your own business? What is your primary motivation and is it enough to sustain you through the most difficult times of building your business?

To truly be successful you must put the notion of “overnight success” out of your mind. There is no such thing and any business promising overnight success is lying to you. The promise of overnight success is a way for scammers to prey upon innocent people who are tired of looking. They “guarantee” thousands of dollars per week, which is just another form of deceit.

Here’s the bottom line, if you are serious about starting a business, it’s going to take an earnest commitment. It’s going to take hard work. Do you have what it takes? Are you ready for success?
